If history teaches us anything, coming this November we will see the next installment in the Call of Duty series. This time around we have Treyarch Studios, developers for Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War, manning the helm of this eagerly awaited game. Many community members have asked for a Vietnam War game, stating that the WWII era has been done and over done. Well it looks like we will be stepping out of WWII and into a Vietnam or Cold War setting.

According to an article by Kotaku Activision is pursuing licenses for Vietnam War-era music, as well as Cuban, Soviet Union and African music. Even tough Activision has not confirmed or denied any romurs, we usually come to find out that they are spot on.

With just about 10 months left for the next C.O.D to be released, VG247 spotted a casting call for Call of Duty related work. Actors are to do VO (voice overs) and motion captures for the game. The call asks for four individuals ranging in age, height, and specific voice tones.

The main character looks to be named, Frank Barns best described as an "old warhorse". Next we have Joseph Lewis, an African American from New Orleans which is following the footsteps of his WWII veteran father. Jason Hudson, a Caucasian male in the mid 30's born in Washington D.C.. With over 15 years in the military, Hudson is an excellent tactician and mission co-coordinator. Last we have the youngest member of the OG team, Kristina Ivanova. Born in Russia, her and her mother fled to the United States during WWII. With an excellent academic record at yale, this caught the eye of the CIA recruitment officers which saw great potential for her as a CIA agent. Head on over to VG247 to see the full casting call.

Well here you have it, more wood to toss into our little fire of rumors.
